This is the Reality of Christmas...

A friend of mine posted this on MySpace and I just wanted to share it with you all...

Happy Thanksgiving

I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone enjoys their day close to family and friends...but instead of having one day, lets be thankful for everyday we are are blessed with! If we can be appreciative and grateful for a few things before starting each day this can help us have a PMA (Positive Mental Attitude). By starting the day with gratitude and appreciation, this can set a positive mindset that can carry on throughout the day. Which in turn can help the atmosphere around you and the people you come in contact with!

Confess

Found this on "YouTube" and I was quite blown away by the quality of the videos. So if you get a chance check out the other videos made by boomya555, some good stuff!

When I say I'm a Chrisitan...

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not shouting "I'm clean livin'."
I'm whispering "I was lost,
Now I'm found and forgiven."

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble
and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak
And need His strength to carry on.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed
And need God to clean my mess.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not claiming to be perfect,
My flaws are far too visible
But, God believes I am worth it.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches
So I call upon His name.

When I say... "I am a Christian"
I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner
Who received Gods grace, somehow!

By: Maya Angelou

I just wanted to share this poem that I have found...it explains what being a Christian is all about. It shows how we should take a humbling and thankful point of view on becoming a follower of Jesus the Christ, not one of self righteousness.

I used the Bible verse (Matthew 13:43) on my Life of Thomas header because I thought it went well with the picture of the sun shining through the clouds. The only thing that makes me "righteous" was an event that took place around 2000 years ago, an event that changed the world forever! When the perfect sacrifice, the Lamb of God, (sinless) Jesus of Nathareth bore the sin of the world upon himself on the cross. He tore the veil that separated man from God opening up heaven to those who believe. Hallelujah!

Out at Sea!

I went out at sea, over near Cape May, on a friend's boat. He said we were going to go out on the water to see some dolphins. Wow, did we see alot of dolphins! There must of been like twenty or more out there, it's hard to say because people say that dolphins like to follow boats. It could of been a lot of the same ones. Here are some of the pics I was blessed to have taken.

The funny part was I didn't think I get any good pics because it was very bright out there and it was almost impossible to see what I was looking at through the camera. I am very happy to have gotten these pictures, it was a very cool experience! I even got a short movie clip of the dolphin jumping out of the water but it so short, I didn't think it was worth sharing. The LORD had blessed us with this dolphin circus and I am very appreciative! It was great seeing all that beauty out at sea.

Oh and here is the Cape May Lighthouse! The building that you see in front of the lighthouse is not connected to it. The lighthouse actually stands further away in a park called the Cape May Point State Park. The Cape May lighthouse is one of eleven total lighthouses in New Jersey. I hope you enjoyed the pics!

The Commandments in the Lord’s Prayer: A Heart Condition

From the very beginning of Jesus’ ministry here on Earth, he went to great lengths to make it clear to whoever was listening, (Jew and gentile alike) that what God wants from us is our hearts. Throughout the Old Testament, He makes it known to Israel that a hardened heart will turn them away from God. As God allowed nations to come against Israel it was always because they had turned their hearts away from Him as they sought after other gods, practiced idolatry, engaged in all kinds of activity that clearly violated the Law as given to them by God Himself. In Deuteronomy 30:14 God says, “But the Word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.” In verse 17 God makes it clear, “But if your heart turns away so that you do not hear, and are drawn away, and worship other gods and serve them, I announce to you today that you shall surely perish.” Even from the very beginning of man God made it clear to Adam in the first command ever given in Genesis 1:17 “but of the tree of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” that from Adam’s heart he would have to trust in and obey God. Satan knew that if he could work on Adam and Eve and within their hearts get them to put their curiosity ahead of God’s Law and break their trust in Gods’ spoken Word alone, they would ultimately fail. Prior to the flood, God gives His clear reason for destroying man from the earth in Genesis 6:5 “Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”

In giving the Ten Commandments as the law of our hearts, God made an easy way for Israel as well as us today to check our hearts. I refer to the Commandments like a thermometer. A thermometer shows us that we have a fever just as the Commandments show us that we are sinners. A thermometer does not cure our fever. The Commandments do not take away our sin, but rather point out the fact that if our hearts are not inline with Gods Word we will not be in His will but separated from Him through sin. In Matthew 5:17 Jesus said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” He then continues to explain the Law as a matter of the heart. In verse 21 he says, “you shall not murder” but in verse 22 explains “But I say to you that whoever is angry with his brother without cause shall be in danger of the judgment.” Again in verse 27 he says, “You shall not commit adultery, but I say to you whoever looks at a women to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Throughout chapters 5 and 6 Jesus teaches lesson after lesson that it is our hearts that are the problem, not our outward appearances.

To drive this point home, Jesus gives us a prayer that I believe shows us how each segment of the Law is pointing to the fact that it is our heart that is the issue. When doing a side-by-side comparison of the Lords Prayer to the Ten Commandments, I believe that you will see how he makes this clear. The following table includes the Law compared to the Lords Prayer with small narratives to explain how I believe Jesus was trying to teach us:

There is only one God, not Allah, Buddha, Mohammad, Baal, etc. We are not to put anything before him. Anything that comes in our life before God can be a god before him. He does not want to be the first god in line ahead of our other gods either because He is our only God. If we desire to be lead by anything other than our desire to live the life that God has in store for us, we will seek other gods to fill those desires.

These are the physical and tangible things that we create for ourselves that become our gods so that they will serve us. We are to put our faith in God and Him alone as we recognize that He is our creator and sustainer who is in heaven. We often want to make for ourselves a self-image of who we think we are or want to be. Our hearts desire is to serve ourselves here on earth. Jesus points us to heaven. Matthew 6:19-21 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasure on earth, but lay up for yourselves treasure in heaven. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”

Recognize that he is holy and acting accordingly. We are not to diminish the sovereignty of God. It is amazing how when we hurt ourselves when working with tools, or find ourselves getting angry with others for something they did, we waste no time using the LORDs’ name in vain. Why don’t people yell, Oh Buddha or d#*it that Mohammad. It is because we all know in our hearts that it is God we want to blame everything that goes wrong on.

God gave us the example that rest is needed as a practical example. He also reminds us that we are to labor and not slumber. We will get our rest at the appropriate time. He promises us eternal rest from our life’s labor here on earth as we await His return and the establishment of His kingdom here on earth.

As our father in heaven, He has given to us everything that we need. He has also given us the example of marriage for parents to function as one and train up their children just as he has given us the example of being his bride. We as parents are to live Godly lives as defined by His word which is His will on this earth. By obeying His word and living holy lives, we will set the example for our children as well as those around us. In the same way, he set for us His example as His children when he came down to earth and gave his life for us. This is how we know His will for our lives. Again, often our hearts desire is to live the life that we see that everyone else has here on earth, not the life of sacrifice for others.

Our labor should be for his glory as He has provided for us through our God given skills and talents. He has promised us that he will provide for all of our needs and is faithful to that promise. Our daily bread is not only physical; it also includes our communion relationship with Jesus. He wants us to feed on His word daily and have a two-way relationship with Him. We are to eat from the bread of life.

We are all sinners that require forgiveness and a redeemer. Jesus is our redeemer through the shedding of his blood for our sins. We are not to take life physically or from our hearts. Jesus requires us to be forgivers of those who have intended or committed sins against us. We are not to carry grudges against others nor cause others to feel guilty in our presence.

These are matters of the heart. Jesus preached that if we think about committing adultery or lust after others in our hearts, then we have committed these sins already. He knows our human nature will cause us to be tempted and that Satan will use this to lure us away from living a holy life if we allow it.

As Satan stands to accuse us of our sins, we would easily do the same against our neighbor, co-workers or even family if we thought that it would protect us or benefit us even to the point of lying. We are required to give a good testimony and bear a true witness as salt and light in a dark world. It is far easier to gossip to lift your self-image and demean others than it is to humble yourself in the presence of others and give the glory to God.

It is so easy for us to desire anything and everything that everyone else has. Marketers know this and prey on our desire to have it all. For whatever reason, it always seems that someone else has it better than us, and we desire to have that thing, job, car, house, family, ability, talent or whatever. It is no coincidence that we have this idea that we can have all that our heart desires. It is only deception that causes us to be tempted to do anything to fulfill our hearts desire. God is in control and it is His kingdom, not a democracy. We do not get to take a vote on how we are to live or take a poll to get the most recent politically correct opinion on how we should live because everyone else does. We are to live according to His will in our lives and according to His word so that we may live receiving His blessings.

In conclusion, Jesus often pointed out to the Pharisees and Sadducees that they should have read God’s Word and explained to the people plainly the difference between the Law and the peoples’ responsibility to keep the Law in their hearts through holy living as a people set apart. As the Body of Christ, we now have the awesome privilege and the responsibility to live holy lives set apart from the world in a way that will make the world see Jesus in our lives by our actions and words. What is in our heart is often what comes out of our mouths. Just like trying to stuff toothpaste back into the tube, once the words of our hearts are out of our mouths, we cannot take them and put them back. If we have repentive hearts and recognize our need for our Savior daily, we will have thankful hearts and our lives will be lived accordingly.

Independence Day

I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all!

If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.-Ronald Reagan

Independence Day is a day to remember the people who believed in our freedom and paved the way for every American to have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. During this celebration may the sacrifices for the gift of freedom never be forgotten!

Freedom has its life in the hearts, the actions, the spirit of men and so it must be daily earned and refreshed - else like a flower cut from its life-giving roots, it will wither and die. -Dwight D. Eisenhower

Dreams and Visions

I came across a neat article about Dreams and Visions and just wanted to share it with you guys. I always found dreams to be very interesting. Anyway here it is...

"As people, approximately 1/3 ( about 8 hours) of our lives are spent sleeping.

I find it more than interesting how little we know about this period of time when we are released from the control of our conscious mind and dwell in a realm in which we have little or no knowledge. If your sleep time is anything like mine, this is a time when the craziest events seem to take place, and many times it is difficult to remember the details.

When we become Christians and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we receive a special gift, a prayer language, that allows our personal spirit to pray to God in a language that our conscious mind does not understand.
When we pray in the ‘spirit’ with our prayer language bestowed on us by God, we get to pray for what we actually need, and not what we ‘think’ we need.

I believe that dreams and visions are messages given to us by God while we dwell in our ‘dream state’. These events are prophetic in nature and are meant to reveal information to us. This information is given to our spirit."

26 Years in The Making!

On June 20th, I just had my 26th Birthday! I am so happy to still be around and to be so rich in blessings. So thankful to still be alive... the other day I was driving my car and I was singing along to this song I was just thinking about how much the Lord has blessed me throughout my life. I have a loving family, food, shelter, clothing, a car, the freedom to worship as I please...the list can go on and on. This is not even mentioning keeping me alive through 3 bouts with cancer and my daily struggle with dialysis. It got pretty emotional to say the least. I had tears of joy pouring out of my face and a great big smile as I was praising the Lord! (My heart felt like it was on fire!)

Thank you Lord for keeping me around... Thank you Lord for all of your blessings! Lord Jesus, I pray that I will always be a good influence to those that come in contact with me. Amen!

Stubborn as a Donkey!

I was reading my Bible this morning and a phrase kept popping out at me. It was in the book of Judges;

And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havothjair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead. [Judges 10:4 NJV]

And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years. [Judges 12:14 NJV]

I was thinking why would it mention this? What is so great about a donkey?

Well I did a little research on it and this is what I came up with! In Genesis the King of Shechem (the modern Nablus), killed by Jacob's sons, is called "Hamor" - showing that at the time this animal was held in high enough esteem that it was no disrespect for royalty to use its name as their first name.

So I was like, "OK" never realized this, donkeys were considered good enough to describe royalty. Here is some more about donkeys in the book of Judges...

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men. [Judges 15:15-16 KJV]

Samson was captured by one thousand Philistines which he slayed with a donkey's jawbone!

There's more...

Donkeys, proverbially stupid, obstinate, and over-sexed, were despised, yet the cross on their backs was a holy marking, since Jesus rode a donkey. Nineteenth-century sources credit them with healing powers; children suffering from whooping cough, measles, fevers, or rickets were passed three or nine times over and under a donkey, or made to wear or swallow hairs from this mark (Opie and Tatem, 1989: 122-3).

How about that...donkeys were said to have healing powers...That's pretty interesting! Never heard this before...

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. [Zechariah 9:9 NJV]

Here is the prophecy of Zechariah coming to pass that predicted that Jesus, the Lamb of God, would come riding a donkey into Jerusalem! This was written in 520-518 BC this is roughly 500 years before Christ was born!

I knew Jesus triumphantly rode on a donkey in to Jerusalem as it is written,

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest! And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. [Matthew 21:6-11 KJV]

You see that folks! Of all the animals in the world look how great the donkey is to God's kingdom. Now just think, how important you are...if the donkey, a dumb and stubborn animal was this important to God. I will close this post with God's word

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. [Matthew 10:26-36 KJV]

Blessings to you and yours!

Give Me Success Now!

Hello all, this is what I have been working on lately, Give Me Success Now! My web page with the different businesses I am affiliated with.

I know this economy just seems to be getting worse instead of better. So much for that trillion dollar stimulus bill, but that is another topic. My father and brother are both looking for work. Seems like everyone I know is losing their jobs and they need to pay for their bills some how! The best way that I know of to make money is from home using the computer. I use to just play games for hours and hours, this was fun...don't get me wrong But...I could of been using it to help others and myself with a job.

I am so blessed to live in the United States where I have the freedom of speech and religion (who knows how long this will last). Not only do we have these freedoms but we have the technology of computers and the internet, this is so very helpful. All this information at our fingertips you can learn about anything you want. Just recently started marketing online and I have learned quite a bit from my good friend Larry Rivera.

The internet has changed marketing forever. There are 1,596,270,108 people using the internet worldwide according to internet world stats and this is changing ever day because every day more people are logging on. There is an endless stream of prospects throughout the whole world just got to tap into it! So if you are interested in making some money online than don't hesitate to contact me, I would be happy to share what I know.

Blessings to you and yours!

Good News (Present)

Today I have gotten pretty good news. I am very pleased to say the least. I had an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy which looks at the esophagus and stomach, it was done about a week ago. An "endoscopy is a procedure that lets your doctor look inside your body. It uses an instrument called an endoscope, or scope for short. Scopes have a tiny camera attached to a long, thin tube. The doctor moves it through a body passageway or opening to see inside an organ. Sometimes scopes are used for surgery, such as for removing polyps".[Endoscopy] This was done to check out my stomach to make sure that everything looked normal because about a year ago they had found that there was cancer in my stomach and they removed it. This was a rather complicated story. Because I did Peritoneal Dialysis, "where the walls of your abdominal cavity are lined with a membrane called the peritoneum, which allows waste products and extra fluid to pass from your blood into the dialysis solution. The solution contains a sugar called dextrose that will pull wastes and extra fluid into the abdominal cavity. These wastes and fluid then leave your body when the dialysis solution is drained".[Peritoneal Dialysis] This made it complicated because I have no kidneys and so I had to switch to Hemo Dialysis.

This is where they placed a Catheter, "sometimes called a CVC (Central Venous Catheter), consists of a plastic catheter with two lumens (or occasionally two separate catheters) which is inserted into a large vein (usually the vena cava, via the internal jugular vein or the femoral vein". [Hemodialysis]Oh because of my bad veins They stuck this catheter through my liver. Yeah this kind of worried me but it worked out! LOL

In that time period I had to wait three months because I had to wait for my peritoneum to heal from the surgery. Than I could go back to my PD again. When they took the Hemo catheters out, I thought there was going to be surgery or something because it did go straight through my liver, right? I was wrong all they did was pull it out very quickly and that was the end of that!I was very surprised it was that easy!

This made me happy because I could take a shower again because when I had the Hemo catheters I could not get those wet in fear of getting them infected. An infection would of went straight to my heart being in my blood stream and all. This would not be a good thing! So you need to be very careful not to get your hemo catheters wet.

Anyway back to the endoscopy...when they were in my stomach they took some biopsies. The results of these biopsies were negative meaning that they did not find any cancer in my stomach. Hallelujah! Thank you Lord Jesus! For the good test results.

Oh I have not mentioned this I know I am slacking on my life story here, I know and you have to forgive me for that. A lot of times I just don't feel very inspired to write, or just don't feel well, and another thing I struggle with, is laziness. I know poor excuses. But, yes! You can add stomach cancer to my long list of health ailments. :)

Blessings to you and yours!

Memorial Day

Memorial Day

We walked among the crosses
Where our fallen soldiers lay.
And listened to the bugle
As TAPS began to play.
The Chaplin led a prayer
We stood with heads bowed low.
And I thought of fallen comrades
I had known so long ago.
They came from every city
Across this fertile land.
That we might live in freedom.
They lie here 'neath the sand.
I felt a little guilty
My sacrifice was small.
I only lost a little time
But these men lost their all.
Now the services are over
For this Memorial Day.
To the names upon these crosses
I just want to say,
Thanks for what you've given
No one could ask for more.
May you rest with God in heaven
From now through evermore.

Happy Anniversary Israel

Why is the nation of Israel so important to those who believe the Bible? Because it was prophesied in the Bible that it would become a nation again. This is the only ancient civilization to ever come back. A blast from the past you might say!

Let's look at one such passage, Isaiah 11:11-16. Verse 11 states:

It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time
To recover the remnant of His people who are left,
From Assyria and Egypt,
From Pathros and Cush,
From Elam and Shinar,
From Hamath and the islands of the sea. -11

Sometime after Isaiah wrote these words, Israel was to be regathered to its homeland. The reference to a "second time" as well as the places from which they would return suggests that this is not the return from the Babylonian exile.

He will set up a banner for the nations,
And will assemble the outcasts of Israel,
And gather together the dispersed of Judah
From the four corners of the earth.-12

Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart,
And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off;
Ephraim shall not envy Judah,
And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.-13

But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west;
Together they shall plunder the people of the East;
They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab;
And the people of Ammon shall obey them. -14

The LORD will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt;
With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River,
And strike it in the seven streams,
And make men cross over dryshod.-15

There will be a highway for the remnant of His people
Who will be left from Assyria,
As it was for Israel
In the day that he came up from the land of Egypt. -16

According to the whole passage, several significant features will characterize this return. First, verse 13 suggests that Israel will no longer be two nations as it was during Solomon's time. Second, Israel will fight the surrounding nations, such as the Philistines, the Edomites, The Moabites, the Ammonites, and the Egyptians as a part of this return (v. 14-15). Third, something spectacular will happen to dry up the "tongue of the sea of Egypt" and the "River," presumably the Euphrates (v.15). Fourth, the places from which the return will take place are explicitly named, except for the general phrase "islands" of the sea" (v.11).

Of these four items, three have already occurred in the return of Jews to Israel in our own generation; only the third has not yet taken place.

The return of Jews to Palestine and the formation of a state of their own is amazing in itself, given that just a century ago the territory was controlled by the Muslim Turks who hated the Jews. Yet a world Zionist movement was formed; the land came under the control of Britain at the end of World War I; Britain allowed the Jews to have a homeland; the Nazi holocaust drove Jews to Palestine who otherwise would have stayed in Europe; the United Nations agreed to partition Palestine into an Arab and a Jewish state; and the Jews were able to defeat a coalition of Arab states bent on their destruction.

The Israeli Declaration of Independence, made on 14 May 1948, the day the British Mandate expired, was the official announcement that the new Jewish state named the State of Israel had been formally established in parts of what was known as the British Mandate for Palestine and on land where, in antiquity, the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah had once been.

In Israel the event is celebrated annually with the national holiday Yom Ha'atzmaut (Hebrew: יום העצמאות‎, lit. Independence Day), the timing of which is based on the Hebrew calendar date of the declaration. Palestinians commemorate the event as Nakba Day (Catastrophe Day) on 15 May every year.

The Jewish state formed in 1948 in Palestine included persons descended from both the northern and southern tribes. The enmity of the divided kingdoms that existed at Isaiah's time has, in fact, been healed.

Israel has already fought with all the surrounding nations, in 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973. Though the Philistines, Edomites, and such are no longer identifiable as separate peoples, the Arab nations occupying their lands (and most likely including some of their descendants) are Egypt, Palestine, Jordan, and Syria. These were the nations Israel fought and dispossessed to regain its territory.

Happy Birthday Israel! Has it been 61 years already? Did all this happen by chance? Was it just one big coincidence? Well I guess that is for you to decide.

How well do you know Chinese?

One of the primary characteristics which separates human behavior from animals is the ability to transfer abstract concepts to another human via written language. The Bible teaches that this ability came directly from a creator, God, and states that the vastly different languages of the world are a result of the confusion of one original language during an event known as the tower of Babel. Our English word babble (meaning gibberish, a confusion of noises or voices) has it roots in this event. If this event was a factual, historical happening, there would be clues in ancient writing for such important events such as the creation of man, the fall of man, the existence of a creator (God) and a deceiver (Satan), the world wide flood, and the dispersion of man (at the tower of Babel).

Knowledge of all of these events can be found not just in the Bible but through the ancient writing of people throughout the world. One of the more interesting clues can be found within the very characters of the ancient Chinese letter symbols. China today is dominated by Buddhism, Taoism, and Confucianism but about 2000 years before the appearance of any of these religious beliefs the ancient Chinese served a single creator god known as "Shang Ti".

Ancient Chinese writing consisted of a series of word pictures or pictographs, which combined simpler features to express an idea or concept.

The symbol for Shang Ti (God) is a combination of the symbol for emperor and the symbol for heaven (or above).

Thus, the original God worshiped by the Chinese was a single heavenly emperor (not a plurality of many gods).

The Bible describes the creation of man as God having formed him from the dust of the ground and breathed into him the breath of life. The Chinese symbol for create is a combination of person (or breath), dust, walking, and alive.

Thus, to create is to bring a person from dust to life and have it walk.

The Bible describes the devil as the great deceiver who first tempted mankind during a private conversation among the trees of the Garden of Eden. The Chinese symbol for Devil is a combination of alive, man, garden, and secret {i.e. something alive tells man a secret in a garden}. Even more revealing is the symbol for tempter. This symbol adds devil to trees and cover.

Thus, the great tempter is a devil telling man a secret under trees.

The Bible describes a world wide flood catastrophe in which all human life with the exception of eight individuals on a floating vessel were destroyed. The Chinese symbol for boat is vessel, eight, and people.

Thus, a boat is eight people onboard of a vessel!

The Bible describes that man was told to spread out over the earth after the worldwide flood yet he rebelled and built a tower to his own glory. God ended this rebellion by confusing man's languages so that they set out and journeyed across the globe in different language groups. Interestingly the Chinese chose to use the identical symbol for confusion and rebellion...a combination of tongue and right leg (or journey).

Thus, to confuse is to set out on a journey with a new tongue (or language).

The Chinese language predates the Hebrew of the Old Testament by 700-1700 years, and yet it contains a true and accurate record of events from the book of Genesis. Isn't God wonderful to preserve such a record for us?

Geneology of Man to Noah's sons

Click on to make larger

This chart shows a time line from Adam and Eve to Noah and his sons it was created by Gerry McGovern from Calvary Chapel Hammonton.

Some interesting notes, Adam was alive for seven generations before his death which means he was able to pass down what he knew from being with God personally. He was alive to teach his children all that he knew and how wonderful this world once was before sin and death. Talk about a witness? Could you imagine Adam's "In my day stories..."? I bet they were pretty remarkable! In my day there was no pain, tears, or hunger! We had all the food you could eat it was just falling from the trees! I will never forgive my wife for what she made me do! Now look at the land! We actually have to work now, to make things grow! We had it made, back in the day! :)

Enoch who is a prophet, had a very good relationship with God, he is the only person I know of, that was taken up or raptured by God. He may of wrote a book but it was not included in the Bible. Some believe this book was not inspired by God and it can not be properly cross referenced with the other books this is why it was left out. The Nephilim, giants, or sons of God and the evil thoughts of man saddened God because he knew what he had to do.

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart. [Genesis 6: 4-6 KJV]

His son Methuselah, was the oldest living person to live on earth he was 969 years old, who's name meant "when he dies/died, it will be sent/has been sent" foretelling of the coming judgment upon the earth. When Methuselah died, in that same year the flood came to baptise and cleanse the earth from it's wickedness. Some think God with held judgment on humans for a very long time to show how patient he is. It took Noah 100 years to build the Ark. Sadly, only eight humans on earth feared or respected the Lord, only Noah and his family would survive. There are many different accounts of the flood but I believe without a doubt this is the correct one. I also believe that the whole world was flooded because if it wasn't. Why build a giant ship for a hundred years and gather two of every animal of the earth? Wouldn't fleeing to the mountains be easier?

Hope you guys enjoyed this little bit of ancient history! May the Lord shine his face upon you and yours!

Easter and it's Meaning

Easter is the most significant observation in the Christian liturgical year.

In English, "Easter" is derived from the name of an ancient Pagan Goddess Eostre.

In Hebrew: פסח; transliterated as pesach or pesah". In most of the remaining languages in countries with a Christian heritage, the name for Easter is derived from "Pesach." the name for Passover. The children of God (Israelites) were enslaved by the Egyptians and were tired of being mistreated. They started to cry out to the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob; he hears their call and appoints Moses to lead them. This was around the year 1446 B.C.

"Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats" [Exodus 12:5 KJV]

"And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it." [Exodus 12:7 KJV]

"And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt." [Exodus 12:13 KJV]

Above is what God told Moses to tell the Isrealites to do to protect themselves from the tenth plague. Passover is when the children of God (Israelites) were commanded by God to sacrifice a perfect lamb(no defects), than to put it's blood on the posts around the door of their houses so that the angel of death would pass over them, but those that did not do this, allowed God to take the first born son of the household. This would make pharaoh finally let the Israelites start their exodus out of Egypt.

"The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." [John 1:29 KJV]

John the baptist who is a prophet of God sees Jesus and realizes who he is immediately. The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world! This is around the year 26 A.D.

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived
. [Numbers 21:9 KJV]

"And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." [John 3:14-17 KJV]

This is when Nicodemus, who was a man of the Pharisees and a ruler of the Jews who was talking to Jesus. Jesus was explaining what had to be done to redeem the world from sin. He was explaining that just like the brass serpent that Moses used to save the Isrealites (who have repented) from the poisonous snakes in the wilderness; that he himself would have to be lifted up on a tree to save those who have repented and accepted Jesus as their Lord and savior. This story about Moses, by the way, is the source of the medical symbol of a snake on a pole.

"In one house shall it be eaten; thou shalt not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall ye break a bone thereof." [Exodus 12:46 KJV]

"The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced."[John 19:31-37 KJV]

And just like the animals sacrificed during the passover the Israelites were not permitted to break any of its bones, just like the Lamb of God who was dead before the Roman soldiers could break his legs. Jesus the Christ was that perfect sacrifice who had never sinned and was put on a tree so that those who believed in him shall not die but have life eternal!

"Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." [Matthew 28: 5-6]

This took all most 1500 years for these prophecies to come to pass, it just goes to show that the Bible is God's word and it confirms itself. Jesus conquered death and opened the way to the Father. If you accept Jesus as your Lord and savior and cover yourself in his blood, death will passover you as well! Hallelujah, glory to the Lamb of God!

Have a Happy Easter all, peace be with you and yours!

Obamacide

Obamacide
o-ba·ma·cide

1 : act of depraved indifference in regards to the unborn during the 2008 Presidential Elections
2 : trading the truth and God for selfish reasons and motivations, while ignoring the life and dignity of the unborn
3 : holding other issues in higher priority over the mass slaughter of thousands each day in America
4 : thinking that just because we can't see the unborn, they don't matter
5 : voting for someone who has vowed to sign legislation (The Freedom of Choice act) which if enacted would abolish all restrictions and limitations on abortion, resulting in millions more dead

MONOLOGUE
On November 4th 2008 we saw the hearts of the majority of American voters and it's no surprise considering what the bible says about the human condition. This doesn't mean our countries hopeless though, no matter what silly slogan obama misuses that word in. We still have the only real hope there is.

VERSE 1
Since I'm a rapper, you must think that I'm liberal,
But I'm never gonna listen to their lies or this bull,
It's kinda funny, but it's stereotypical,
To think blacks, hispanics and us rappers are little fools,
I'm not your puppet and you haven't decieved me,
And I'm never gonna buy into the lies that you feed me,
I won't sell out over selfish reasons,
And reject all the principles I've come to believe in,
You're brainwashing the poor to think that,
The only thing that matters is the less that they pay tax,
I don't know how the democrats tricked 'em,
But now they think, that they aren't really part of the system,
The democratic parties never liked black rights,
Even though that's contradictory to what they might act like,
But now it seems that they've gotten their way on that,
Today, most blacks are now slaves to the democrats.

VERSE 2
People say I'm just a one issue conservative,
And then they act shocked like I shouldn't be concerned with it,
I'm disconcerted with the way all these churches sit back,
Like the murder of children isn't concernin' them,
They say it's their right to take a child and than murder 'em,
This is absurd and it's something that I've been burdened with.
Since Roe V Wade over 49 million,
Unborn babies have been destroyed and dismembered and,
It's hard to believe in a country that's so proud of rights,
People can get a way with taking other peoples lives,
I can't believe that the majority approves this,
Pretending like we really don't know where the proof is,
We're not that ignorant, but I know we're evil,
Scientists care more for global warming than people,
So as we spend millions, tryina prove we're the cause,
Millions are gonna die because we're stubborn and wrong.

VERSE 3
It's funny they say that it's all for the children,
And I guess it might be, only if we don't kill them,
Too bad the new president, cares more about choice,
Then the murder of americans, who don't have a voice,
They say this election was great for our nation,
But the only thing it proved, is still people are racist,
Those who voted soley based on skin tone,
Have desecrated the dream, martin luther king lived for,
Before you say that I'm racist or arrogant,
Alan Keyes has an african american heritage,
That's the man I endorsed from the get go,
He believes in God's authority and holds on to this hope,
I couldn't vote for McCain or republicans,
When it came down to it they betrayed all our trust in them,
-This nations consumed with the sin that enslaves us,
Since we've rejected the law of the God who made us.

MONOLOGUE
When it comes to the current state of America there are many issues that arise, but the real issue behind it all is our relationship to God as individuals and as a nation.

CHORUS
We've become so numb to reality,
That we don't even see we've become God's enemy,
We the people, traded truth and God for lies,
As a nation we've committed obamacide.
It's so sad, I have to write on this notepad,
The things people know in their hearts, but just won't have,
We the people, traded truth and God for lies,
As a nation we've committed obamacide.

We murder 4 thousand a day,
Let alone for convenience sake,
How can you just sit back and never react,
To the holocaust in front of your face?
The sad thing is we'd like to save our face,
But the truth is we're all to blame,
They say hitler was evil, but we've killed,
Over 49 million since Roe V Wade.

[lyrics by Jesus Disciple "Obamacide"]

Abortion...This is one of the main reasons I did not want Mr. Barack Hussein Obama to be my president. He seemed to be hell bent on allowing women to be able to "Choose" with his radical positions on abortion. He actually said he "The first thing I'd do as president is sign the Freedom of Choice Act. That's the first thing that I'd do." Not only that he also signed the Mexico City Act which is using American tax dollars to pay for abortions around the world. I wonder how this is helping our country.

The United States Supreme Court legalized abortion on demand. The decision is called Roe vs. Wade. We call it Death Roe. About one fourth of our generation has already been wiped out, and the executions continue at the rate of over 3000 a day. If you were born after that date, you are one of the unchosen. You are a Death Roe Survivor.

49,551,703 people murdered since 1973, Oh Lord God Almighty have mercy on us for our wicked ways.

Friday the 13th

Hello everyone, I would like to apologize for all those that follow this blog regularly. I have not written on here in awhile. I was in the hospital for a short time and I just haven’t felt like writing, but now I am back. :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow what a day this was! I woke up from my slumber to find that I could not breathe, I was choking and gasping for air. I was suffocating and was fighting for dear life. I was spitting up blood which made matters worse. My heart felt like it was pumping one million beats a minute. I was almost certain that I was going to die. I was also hooked up to my dialysis machine which I had to disconnect from before the treatment was over. The way the peritoneal dialysis works is it sends a sugar solution into your body usually through a Catheter that is inserted in your stomach. “The walls of your abdominal cavity are lined with a membrane called the peritoneum, which allows waste products and extra fluid to pass from your blood into the dialysis solution. The solution contains a sugar called dextrose that will pull wastes and extra fluid into the abdominal cavity. These wastes and fluid then leave your body when the dialysis solution is drained. The used solution, containing wastes and extra fluid, is then thrown away. The process of draining and filling is called an exchange and takes about 30 to 40 minutes. The period the dialysis solution is in your abdomen is called the dwell time. A typical schedule calls for four exchanges a day, each with a dwell time of 4 to 6 hours. Different types of PD have different schedules of daily exchanges.”[Peritoneal Dialysis]

But when this sugar water stays in your body for awhile it brings up your sugar levels in your blood which may make it look like you have diabetes. When you have too much sugar in your body this will make you thirsty and you may drink more. If you are on dialysis this can be a bad thing because your body will begin to have too much fluid build up in your body. But if the dialysis solution doesn't stay in your body long enough it doesn't clean your blood like it should, so it's a hard balance to find.

Thank God, my parents were home, and they were there to help give me a ride to the hospital. My pride got the best of me I walked out to the car myself, I probably should of let my father help carry me, but nope not me. (I know, I'm a knuckle head!) When I got to the hospital, they hooked up some oxygen to my face and after a few hours I wasn't spitting up blood any longer. I was feeling much better, I could actually breathe. After a couple of X-rays, they found that there was so much fluid built up around my lungs which caused my lungs to feel so overwhelmed which lead me to spit up the blood.

The dialysis was actually part of the reason why I had this little episode. See the problem I have, is the sugar solution doesn’t always drain out and I start to collect this fluid all over my body, in places such as my legs, groin, and chest cavity. This is what happened to me here, the fluid was actually collecting around my lungs and it was choking my body from the inside out, thus making me spit up blood. Not only that all this fluid as put a lot of pressure on my heart which is bad because I already have heart failure. What was the answer? Well to get this fluid out of my body and quick!

So I was on dialysis for pretty much two days none stop. I have been trying to tell my doctors that quicker exchanges pulls more off than the longer ones. I have also told them that the longer dwells are bad because I absorb a lot of it. It’s funny how you can tell doctors things and they just don’t seem to listen. Another thing I thought was discouraging, was that they were didn’t have all the supplies needed to get proper treatment. What I mean is they didn’t have a scale to weigh the manual dialysis bags. They were using other means to weigh these bags such as a baby incubator. This was on the ICU floor, which is the Intensive Care Unit for those that don't know what that means.

When I was doing better I got to go on another floor, which had a Fresenius dialysis machine. I was supposed to be hooked up to this machine to help get rid of the fluid but a lot of the times I would be getting hooked up very late. This was because they didn’t have any drain bags, in which I would be on dialysis throughout the morning of the next day. The one night I was about to walk out because I was supposed to get care and wasn’t really getting any help concerning my dialysis. I mean I could of taken better care of myself doing the dialysis.

I thought the nurses were great and are very unappreciated for what they do, day in and day out. I have no complaints about them, but the supply team of HUP needs some work. I mean they should have the right amount of dialysis supplies and even if they didn’t they could borrow it from CHOP like they did, but they could of done it a little quicker especially if they knew they didn’t have enough. I was a little discouraged with HUP but than when I think about this, I am sure there are worse off places that have to deal with even less supplies to make ends meet.

I will be writing a letter to help document this, so that hopefully others will not have to go through this. It really should not be happening at one of America's top ten hospitals.

While in the hospital, I had a nurse who said it was refreshing to have a patient like me, always having a smile on my face and high in spirits. I have also done most of the work to take care of myself such as setting up the dialysis. I think that it is my job to be that refreshing patient who is always smiling no matter what may be wrong with me. To be that patient that is always happy, to make all those who see me to say "Wow! What is wrong with that guy? Why is he so happy?"

The Hand of God

"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me..." [Psalm 138:8 KJV]

I've certainly seen God's hand in my life. One day I was on my way home from a long tiring trip from the dialysis center. My mother was with me and she was worrying about how we were going to get all these dialysis boxes into our house. While we were at the dialysis center in Philadelphia, a supply truck was dropping off the different supplies I needed at the house so I could use for dialysis. My mother was wondering how we were going to get all these boxes into the house, there were two weeks worth, I just told my mother we would do it, we just have to take our time.

As we came pulling up to our house, there was a whole bunch of boxes just sitting there in front of the front step. About 30 boxes or so 10 pounds each. I was pretty tired because of all my health issues plus the trip to the dialysis center, yeah I know, poor excuses.

I just told my mother we would take our time. Than out of nowhere, our next door neighbor, Ishmael, comes over with a box cart. He is such a nice guy! He's like, "I see you have all these boxes here, and I got this box cart and I want to help you guys!" I was very appreciative and was just thinking how great God is and was thankful for the helping hand. So what would of taken us a lot longer took us about five minutes with our next door neighbor's help! Thanks Ishmael!

Sometimes we ask God for something, and we wonder if he heard us. Than sometimes it takes longer than we expect and we may get discouraged. Other times we may not like the answers we do get, such as cancer, but that is our cross and we have to carry it the best we can. Than other times he answers right away and when that happens, it is an awesome feeling! It's almost if, you could see the hand of God, right before you!

Preserve Free Speech

Preserve Free Speech on Radio and TV!

We face an imperative issue. The Broadcaster Freedom Act must pass Congress in order to protect the free speech of Christian and conservative broadcasters. We must speak out now to permanently prohibit the Federal Communications Commission and President Obama from reinstating the so-called “Fairness Doctrine,” legislation that would force broadcasters to strike an “even balance” on the issues at their own expense. I find this to be completely unfair, I myself like to watch Christian television and listen to Christian radio. Why should they have to show another perspective? Are they going to show the Christian perspective on all the other channels? I doubt it. If someone doesn't like what they see or hear on the radio or television they can turn the channel, why make this law? The “Fairness Doctrine", doesn't sound very fair to me.

Please, exercise your rights as a concerned citizen and call on Congress to vote on this vitally important legislation, the Broadcaster Freedom Act of 2009 (H.R. 226; S. 34). Refined by Fire!

The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart. [Proverbs 13:3]

Both gold and silver are refined by high heat. The impurities float to the top and are taken out, improving the purity and quality of the metal. In the same way; suffering allows the moral impurities in our character to surface. The heat of hard times is designed to improve us, drawing us closer to the heart of God. When you are facing difficulties, stay strong, and know that through that trial, you will be molded into the person, God wants you to be!

"It is the fire of suffering that brings forth the gold of godliness." -Madame Guyon

Inspirational Video

After watching this video, It really touched my heart, it has brought tears to my eyes. I have realized I will no longer live for myself. Forgive me Lord for I have sinned. Thank you God for sending your Son down to earth to die for all of us sinners. For Lord with out you, we are nothing!

The Inauguration Day Prayer (you won't hear)

This is the prayer you won't hear on Obama's Inauguration. So please pray this for our country instead.

Lord we begin this year with our heads low and our hearts contrite for we have neglected your Word and Commandments. Forgive us Lord for embracing "Change" without repentance. Forgive us for putting "Country First" instead of Christ. Forgive us for worshiping our presidential choice. For promoting pragmatism, and endorsing evil. Forgive us for applauding an Esther (Palin), when she was sign of God's judgment. Remind us that judgment begins at the house of God. Forgive us for putting our tax exempt status before Christ. Forgive us for teaching that God is a God of love but not of justice and wrath. For creating a God in our own image and worshiping him. For preaching peace, peace when there is no peace. Forgive us for loving sinners to death, when God says, He hates the workers of iniquity. Forgive us for taxation (coercion) to fight poverty when the Church should be serving them. Forgive us for making innocent life "above our pay grade." Forgive us for believing "life begins at conception" yet allowing embryo experimentation. Forgive us there can be no financial security until there is security in the womb. Forgive us for rewarding covetousness and greed, and squandering our children's inheritance. Forgive us for decrying socialism (bailouts) while sending our Christian children to socialist schools.Forgive us for railing against gay marriage (which we should) while indulging in pornography and embracing divorce. Forgive us for battling AIDS (which we should) but neglecting the sin often at its root. Forgive us for making global warming an idol. Forgive us Lord and may you use the coming financial storm to judge our idolatry, and make us more reliant on you, not our 401K's. Use the coming tribulation to shake off the rotten fruit of corporate, seeker sensitive mega churches and leave fruit that lasts. Turn the father's hearts to their children, and bring true revival to America. Change is coming. God bless America, In Jesus name, Amen. From the show "Wretched"
