Dreams and Visions

I came across a neat article about Dreams and Visions and just wanted to share it with you guys. I always found dreams to be very interesting. Anyway here it is...

"As people, approximately 1/3 ( about 8 hours) of our lives are spent sleeping.

I find it more than interesting how little we know about this period of time when we are released from the control of our conscious mind and dwell in a realm in which we have little or no knowledge. If your sleep time is anything like mine, this is a time when the craziest events seem to take place, and many times it is difficult to remember the details.

When we become Christians and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we receive a special gift, a prayer language, that allows our personal spirit to pray to God in a language that our conscious mind does not understand.
When we pray in the ‘spirit’ with our prayer language bestowed on us by God, we get to pray for what we actually need, and not what we ‘think’ we need.

I believe that dreams and visions are messages given to us by God while we dwell in our ‘dream state’. These events are prophetic in nature and are meant to reveal information to us. This information is given to our spirit."

26 Years in The Making!

On June 20th, I just had my 26th Birthday! I am so happy to still be around and to be so rich in blessings. So thankful to still be alive... the other day I was driving my car and I was singing along to this song I was just thinking about how much the Lord has blessed me throughout my life. I have a loving family, food, shelter, clothing, a car, the freedom to worship as I please...the list can go on and on. This is not even mentioning keeping me alive through 3 bouts with cancer and my daily struggle with dialysis. It got pretty emotional to say the least. I had tears of joy pouring out of my face and a great big smile as I was praising the Lord! (My heart felt like it was on fire!)

Thank you Lord for keeping me around... Thank you Lord for all of your blessings! Lord Jesus, I pray that I will always be a good influence to those that come in contact with me. Amen!

Stubborn as a Donkey!

I was reading my Bible this morning and a phrase kept popping out at me. It was in the book of Judges;

And he had thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and they had thirty cities, which are called Havothjair unto this day, which are in the land of Gilead. [Judges 10:4 NJV]

And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years. [Judges 12:14 NJV]

I was thinking why would it mention this? What is so great about a donkey?

Well I did a little research on it and this is what I came up with! In Genesis the King of Shechem (the modern Nablus), killed by Jacob's sons, is called "Hamor" - showing that at the time this animal was held in high enough esteem that it was no disrespect for royalty to use its name as their first name.

So I was like, "OK" never realized this, donkeys were considered good enough to describe royalty. Here is some more about donkeys in the book of Judges...

And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith. And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men. [Judges 15:15-16 KJV]

Samson was captured by one thousand Philistines which he slayed with a donkey's jawbone!

There's more...

Donkeys, proverbially stupid, obstinate, and over-sexed, were despised, yet the cross on their backs was a holy marking, since Jesus rode a donkey. Nineteenth-century sources credit them with healing powers; children suffering from whooping cough, measles, fevers, or rickets were passed three or nine times over and under a donkey, or made to wear or swallow hairs from this mark (Opie and Tatem, 1989: 122-3).

How about that...donkeys were said to have healing powers...That's pretty interesting! Never heard this before...

Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass. [Zechariah 9:9 NJV]

Here is the prophecy of Zechariah coming to pass that predicted that Jesus, the Lamb of God, would come riding a donkey into Jerusalem! This was written in 520-518 BC this is roughly 500 years before Christ was born!

I knew Jesus triumphantly rode on a donkey in to Jerusalem as it is written,

And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them, And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon. And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way.And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest! And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. [Matthew 21:6-11 KJV]

You see that folks! Of all the animals in the world look how great the donkey is to God's kingdom. Now just think, how important you are...if the donkey, a dumb and stubborn animal was this important to God. I will close this post with God's word

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. [Matthew 10:26-36 KJV]

Give Me Success Now!

Hello all, this is what I have been working on lately, Give Me Success Now! My web page with the different businesses I am affiliated with.

I know this economy just seems to be getting worse instead of better. So much for that trillion dollar stimulus bill, but that is another topic. My father and brother are both looking for work. Seems like everyone I know is losing their jobs and they need to pay for their bills some how! The best way that I know of to make money is from home using the computer. I use to just play games for hours and hours, this was fun...don't get me wrong But...I could of been using it to help others and myself with a job.

I am so blessed to live in the United States where I have the freedom of speech and religion (who knows how long this will last). Not only do we have these freedoms but we have the technology of computers and the internet, this is so very helpful. All this information at our fingertips you can learn about anything you want. Just recently started marketing online and I have learned quite a bit from my good friend Larry Rivera.

The internet has changed marketing forever. There are 1,596,270,108 people using the internet worldwide according to internet world stats and this is changing ever day because every day more people are logging on. There is an endless stream of prospects throughout the whole world just got to tap into it! So if you are interested in making some money online than don't hesitate to contact me, I would be happy to share what I know.

Blessings to you and yours!

Good News (Present)

Today I have gotten pretty good news. I am very pleased to say the least. I had an upper gastrointestinal endoscopy which looks at the esophagus and stomach, it was done about a week ago. An "endoscopy is a procedure that lets your doctor look inside your body. It uses an instrument called an endoscope, or scope for short. Scopes have a tiny camera attached to a long, thin tube. The doctor moves it through a body passageway or opening to see inside an organ. Sometimes scopes are used for surgery, such as for removing polyps".[Endoscopy] This was done to check out my stomach to make sure that everything looked normal because about a year ago they had found that there was cancer in my stomach and they removed it. This was a rather complicated story. Because I did Peritoneal Dialysis, "where the walls of your abdominal cavity are lined with a membrane called the peritoneum, which allows waste products and extra fluid to pass from your blood into the dialysis solution. The solution contains a sugar called dextrose that will pull wastes and extra fluid into the abdominal cavity. These wastes and fluid then leave your body when the dialysis solution is drained".[Peritoneal Dialysis] This made it complicated because I have no kidneys and so I had to switch to Hemo Dialysis.

This is where they placed a Catheter, "sometimes called a CVC (Central Venous Catheter), consists of a plastic catheter with two lumens (or occasionally two separate catheters) which is inserted into a large vein (usually the vena cava, via the internal jugular vein or the femoral vein". [Hemodialysis]Oh because of my bad veins They stuck this catheter through my liver. Yeah this kind of worried me but it worked out! LOL

In that time period I had to wait three months because I had to wait for my peritoneum to heal from the surgery. Than I could go back to my PD again. When they took the Hemo catheters out, I thought there was going to be surgery or something because it did go straight through my liver, right? I was wrong all they did was pull it out very quickly and that was the end of that!I was very surprised it was that easy!

This made me happy because I could take a shower again because when I had the Hemo catheters I could not get those wet in fear of getting them infected. An infection would of went straight to my heart being in my blood stream and all. This would not be a good thing! So you need to be very careful not to get your hemo catheters wet.

Anyway back to the endoscopy...when they were in my stomach they took some biopsies. The results of these biopsies were negative meaning that they did not find any cancer in my stomach. Hallelujah! Thank you Lord Jesus! For the good test results.

Oh I have not mentioned this I know I am slacking on my life story here, I know and you have to forgive me for that. A lot of times I just don't feel very inspired to write, or just don't feel well, and another thing I struggle with, is laziness. I know poor excuses. But, yes! You can add stomach cancer to my long list of health ailments. :)

Blessings to you and yours!
