Dreams and Visions

I came across a neat article about Dreams and Visions and just wanted to share it with you guys. I always found dreams to be very interesting. Anyway here it is...

"As people, approximately 1/3 ( about 8 hours) of our lives are spent sleeping.

I find it more than interesting how little we know about this period of time when we are released from the control of our conscious mind and dwell in a realm in which we have little or no knowledge. If your sleep time is anything like mine, this is a time when the craziest events seem to take place, and many times it is difficult to remember the details.

When we become Christians and receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we receive a special gift, a prayer language, that allows our personal spirit to pray to God in a language that our conscious mind does not understand.
When we pray in the ‘spirit’ with our prayer language bestowed on us by God, we get to pray for what we actually need, and not what we ‘think’ we need.

I believe that dreams and visions are messages given to us by God while we dwell in our ‘dream state’. These events are prophetic in nature and are meant to reveal information to us. This information is given to our spirit."

You can finish the rest at Dedicated Christian There is also a second part to this article as well. Enjoy!

I absolutely believe that dreams and visions are given to us prophetically. I've had quite a few myself...

Hey Lori, yes I agree with you. Many times I myself have had the feeling of deja vu from my dreams. A neat feeling!

Certainly there are accounts in scripture of dreams being the catalyst for change - but we need not rely on dreams - in the Gospels you will find the words of Christ - which tell you "exactly" what to do - to gain eternal life.
Matthew 25 is a perfect example "What you have done to the least of your brothers, you have done to me."

God bless...

Hey Brian! Thanks for stopping by, and making a very good point. Reminds me of the phrase, "What would Jesus do?" Don't know what to do? Always go to the Father in prayer.

Grace and Peace!
